Once you’ve set up your Custom Objects, it’s easy to manage them. You can view the parent object and the attributes created for each one, as well as update or archive them.

Manage Custom Objects and their attributes

To manage your Custom Objects, go to Settings > Data > Custom Objects:

When Custom Objects are saved, they are added as rows in the “Live” tab and you can find details for:

  • Object - name of the Custom Object.

  • Last updated - time elapsed since the Custom Object was last edited.

  • Created - time elapsed since the Custom Object was first created.

To see the attributes created under each Custom Object, click on the edit icon:

You can view the details of individual attributes by using the edit icon next to each one.

Note: You can only edit the description of an attribute once it’s created and saved, you can’t change the format or attribute name.

Archive an attribute by clicking on “Archive”:

Note: Archiving an attribute prevents your team from using it. Its data will still be stored. If the attribute is currently used in workflows (e.g. Custom Bots) you’ll need to remove it from those workflows before you can archive it.

Archiving a Custom Object

To archive a Custom Object go to Settings > Data > Custom Objects and click on the edit icon next to the object you want to archive:

Then select “Archive” in the upper right and again in the modal confirmation.

Note: Archiving a Custom Object prevents your team from using it. Its data will still be stored. If the Custom Object is currently used in workflows (e.g. Custom Bots) you’ll need to remove it from those workflows before you can archive it.

Archived Custom Objects will appear under the “Archived” tab and can be restored easily by hovering over the object name and selecting “Restore”:
