How to show Related Articles below articles in your Help Center.

Enhance articles discovery with Related Articles, designed to enhance your customers' navigation and discovery experience within your Help Center.

How it works

The Related Articles feature provides basic article recommendations in a Related Articles block under the main article body of each article in your Help Center.

Only fully public, published articles that have been added to a collection will be shown. Articles with audience targeting enabled will not be displayed.

The feature uses a background related article search algorithm. This algorithm compares the title, description and article body and generates a score based on its relatedness to other articles.

This feature will show at most five related articles sorted by relevance. Articles deemed to be unrelated will be excluded. It is possible that the related articles block will not be displayed if the scoring algorithm cannot find sufficient related content.

Related articles are recalculated every time an article in the associated help center is updated.


Get started

The Related Articles feature is available for your Help Center website and in the Messenger. Enable it from Settings > Help Center > Configure and style in the Article page section under the Styling tab.

Related Articles can be enabled or disabled globally for all articles in a Help Center.

When enabled, up to five related articles will be displayed in a dedicated block at the bottom of all articles.

Previewing Related Articles

The Article preview will show the layout and format of the Related Articles block which will be displayed in each article.

Exclude articles from recommendation

Prevent an article from being recommended in Related Articles, by disabling Article suggestions from the "Details" panel when viewing the article in Knowledge.
