Inviting teammates to join your free trial of Intercom just got easier. You can send teammates a unique link that directs them to create an account and join your workspace.

Get started

Once you have started the free trial and are logged into your Intercom workspace, navigate to your Getting started guide for next steps such as inviting your teammates.

You can also find the Add new teammate option under Settings > Workspace > Teammates.

You will see a 'Quick invite' pop-up appear, which gives you the option to create an invite link or invite teammates by email. Click Create invite link, and the link will be generated and automatically copied to your clipboard.

The unique link is only available during your 14 day free trial, and it will automatically expire after 3 days. To refresh or deactivate the link, go to Settings > Workspace > Teammates.

Invitees who register will receive limited access permissions, that you have the ability to edit in your Teammates tab. Permissions not included are:

  • Can manage general and security settings

  • Can manage teammates, seats and permissions

  • Can manage Billing settings

Teammates who click on the unique workspace invite link will be taken to a registration page on Intercom.

Teammates will need to enter their name, work email address, and create a new password. Invitees must register using an email address associated with your business domain. This must match the domain address you used to sign up with.

Once a teammate has registered through the unique workspace invite link you created, you will receive an email notifying you.
